At xxxx0 miles it received a new radiator which all early Disco II models were likely to have fail. The power plant is solid, clean and no leaks. It has had seals replaced, water pump and any squeaky wheels or pulleys replaced. A new factory Alpine changer was installed to replace the faulty original. The xxxx and xxxx Discovery were the only two years of the most powerful Harmon Karen system LR used in the Discovery. It was far superior to even the xxxx HSE system. The body received a fender and all 5 doors off including the hood. Inside and out paint of genuine Trek Molten Orange. The engine compartment was not painted past the inner fenders. The paint work was performed by J.R. Burkholder auto body of Paradise, PA. This shop has produced many senior class winners of all marques of automobiles. The front end received a new Gulf States grill as used on the Trek and Kalahari editions. A new Saudi Bumper was installed. The car has new OEM Michelin tires with less than two thousand miles. The car was fitted with a genuine LR Warn winch, winch tray and A-bar removed from a genuine xxxx G4 car. The winch is absolutely perfect and comes with a new Warn remote. Expedition roof rack and ladder were added with rear lamp guards. The final addition at the top end Trek added were 4 each new Hella FF100 driving lamps and a rear Hella Matador work lamp as fitted to the Trek. On the lower side, new custom Slick Rock fabrication sliders were installed opposed to Safari Gard. The look is the same, but a much heftier under carriage structure. Lastly added were an exhaustive collection of replication art work identical to Trek graphics. The car even includes 3 new Special Vehicle badges. These are badges, not imitation decals. This car is quiet, tight and in very good physical condition. It has heated front seats and full cold pack.
