This was Oldsmobiles first full size wagon since xxxx and was built on the C platform and featured the innovative clam shell tailgate. It could seat up to 8 passengers with the optional 3rd row seat and weighed in over xxxx lbs., with a length of 231.2 inches. To move this vehicle, Oldsmobile offered the massive 455 cubic inch Rocket V-8 as an option. Production Break Down: Two-Seat, Plain Body xxxx Two-Seat, Woodgrained Body xxxx Three-Seat, Plain Body xxxx (The Model Being Sold) Three-seat, Woodgrained Body 12.269 ***HAS ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET****I am the 3rd owner of this fantastic example of an Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. This was "Special Ordered" and delivered to Riley Oldsmobile in NJ. It then passed from the original owner to another car enthusiasts in the Detroit, MI area, before I acquired it in xxxx. The car has placed consistently in car shows in both "stock" and "survivor" categories. The car drove effortlessly from Illinois to Southern California, where it has been stored since xxxx.The Car is Garaged/Stored. In Illinois it was stored in a climate control garage and never saw snow /foul weather. Car is registered in Illinois and has a "clean" title. The interior is all original with no rips or tears on all three rows of seats and head liner is perfect as well.Door panels are in excellent condition.Carpet is original and in excellent condition for its age with no fading or damage.Dash has a small "hair line crack by head light knob, otherwise dash is not faded or cracked.Some "fading/dis-coloring" of cargo area interior side panels-typical for station wagon of this age. All Power Accessories WORK with the exception of power antenna (sometimes it works, sometimes it does not). The paint is all original and does display on roof and hood some oxidation, but buffs out prior to shows. Paint has some imperfections for 38 years old, but never repainted - Original Paint. I chose not to repaint.All glass is original and in good condition, there is a "pin" head size chip on lower driver side window. The body is straight and all original--Not Wrecked or Damaged. The spare wheel well is solid with no rust. The floors are all solid and the undercarriage has no rust. All door jams and rockers are solid - no rust.There is a little surface rust (Not rusted through) just over the driver side fender skirt and bottom of fender (photos in description) . There is also a "half-dollar" rust hole on the rear bumper & chrome plate flaking around bumper jack slots (photo in description).A/C & Heater Blow from Low to High settings. A/C will need to be converted from R12 to R134.Heavy - Duty Trail Hitch/Tow Package. ***Numbers match and car does have original "Build Sheet"**. Original Owners Manuel and xxxx Chassis Shop Manuel and numerous Brochures, Catalogues, Original AM/FM Stereo, Extra set of (4) Deluxe Hubcaps are included with vehicle.
